Skiing in Morzine
Situated in the Portes du Soleil area, which encompasses thirteen resorts between Mont Blanc in France and Lake Geneva in Switzerland, Morzine is the most northern ski resort in France.Morzine is located about 1 hour 15 minutes by road from Geneva airport. It is on the French / Swiss boarder just south of Lake Geneva (Lac Leman), and just under an hour from the Italian boarder (via the Mont Blanc tunnel).
Morzine summer activities
Although mainly a winter destination, Morzine has plenty to offer its tourists in summer as well. Whether into hiking on the high mountains in the area, or the more daring paragliding and mountain biking, Morzine is a good choice. Don’t worry, the lazier ones aren’t left out – you can always lay by the pool or visit the surroundings at your own pace.
